La Residence Grand Combin

A LUXURY LAKESIDE HOME

The Apartment is located in a grand lakeside Victorian building "La Residence Grand Combin" which was originally a hotel. The building was recently renovated and converted into 8 exclusive luxury lakeside aparments. Our Apartment with its' exsquisite panoramic lake and mountain views is furnished and maintained to an exceptionally high standard.

The Living Area:

An open-plan light and spacious living area, leading onto two balcony. The views of the Lake are simply magnificent!

At then end of an action packed day there is nothing like curling up on the comfortable corner sofa in front of the real log fire in this room.

With all of the comforts of home, you will find within the living room a modern flat screen cable TV and DVD player with a small variety of films for your enjoyment.

You will also find a selection of fun board games and books.

(Corner sofa coverts into double bed).

The Kitchen:

The Kitchen with solid granite work top, is very well equipt with modern appliances incl. electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster.

There is a pristine white dinner service and most other household items you will need.

Of course if you don't feel like cooking there are several lovely restaurants to choose from within walking distance!

(Shared laundry facilities downstairs in communal area which is free of charge to my guests).

The Dining Area:

The dining area seats 6 around a solid pine table.

There is also a solid granite breakfast bar with 2 stools from which you can enjoy a quick drink or snack.

Alternatively dining on the balcony overlooking the lake in Summer is a absolute delight.

Bedroom 1 - The Master Bedroom:

The Master Bedroom with solid pine furniture has a modern en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating.

This room has double doors onto its' own separate balcony. A wonderful spot overlooking the lake for a morning coffee or to sit and read.

All bedding and fluffy towels are provided.

You will also find a hairdryer and selection of books.

Bedroom 2 - The Twin Room:

A lovely light room with solid pine twin beds and wardrobe.

This room is adjacent to a separate to a contemporary shower room.

Again fluffly towels and fresh bedlinen are provided.

The apartment has three large Balconies. Two accessed from the Living Area (one with outdoor dining table and chairs). The third balcony accessed from the Master Bedroom and has a small bistro table with two chairs. All three balconies have the most spectacular view directly of Lac Champex and the surrounding mountains.

There is a shoe cabinet in the hall outside the apartment for you use. In addition there is a Boot Room located on the ground floor for changing into and out of muddy boots and walking shoes.

The indoor garage is accessed via the remote controlled electric door. Here there is a parking space dedicated to the apartment. Opposite the parking space there is a ski rack for the exclusive use of our guests.
